The Brain Health Benefits of Spending More Time in Nature

Uncategorized

I wanted to share a quick post about one of the most important things you can do for your brain health… spending quality time in nature.

Disconnecting from all technology, Wi-Fi and electromagnetic frequencies as well as the hustle and bustle of a fast-paced modern life is crucial for your mental, emotional and spiritual health because doing so allows your brain and your neural networks integrate everything that's happened throughout your day, week, months and years of your life.

Spending time in nature is one of the best, and most enjoyable ways, that I’ve found to take care of my own brain health, and to really slow down to a more human-paced quality of life.

Watch my latest video where I talk all about spending more time in nature!

One of my favorite spots in the world is the gorgeous Lake Annecy located in the eastern part of France, about an hour from Geneva. It’s known for being the cleanest lake in Europe, because of strict environmental regulations. The water is cool, refreshing and rejuvenating.

Regardless if you're lounging in Lake Annecy, or hanging out at a local park near your home, when you spend time in nature– grass, forests, lakes, waterfalls, you’re surrounded by high levels of negative ions that have a balancing and healing effect on your brain and your body. This helps counteract all the high levels of positive ions that are found in things like concrete, glass, electronics, and EMFs, that have long-term damaging effects to your health, especially when not balanced with time in nature.

I hope you enjoyed my brain health tip for the day and hope you make it a priority to spend more time in nature. It doesn't have to be at a gorgeous lake in France, or somewhere across the world. It can be as simple as taking a stroll through your neighborhood park or hiking at a forest preserve or wooded area that’s close to you.

But if you can make it out to Lake Annecy, more power to you!

I'd love to hear from you. Reply in the comments below! >> Tell me what your favorite spots are in the world and your favorite ways to recharge in nature??
